Africa Dominguez--Chapter 3

Africa Job: Mime age 27
Laci Hourvitz Job: Project leader, Age 27.
Children: twins Darius and Dominica, age11.

Africa and Laci decided that it was about time that they move up in the world. Africa was so tired of being awakened by her loudsy neighbor. Laci had it worse since she worked early and needed all her sleep. They decided to take the plunge and buy their first home together. it was a little tricky since they were not married but they got their house. It was a house right across from her parents. Africa and Laci managed to get a loan for 85,800 which included money for new furniture that they needed. They upgraded from a one and a half bedroom apartment to a four bedroom house.

"Were finally moved in. I cant believe that it took us forever to get our house finally in some order."
"I just cant believe Laci that we actually have a house. Now we have to plan our house warming party."
" I agree we should. I love that your parents live across the street and now they can visit us as we can visit them. Im glad that you get along with your mom now."
"I know. Its been a long process but at least were making it. The kids seem to love their new rooms."
"They do but at the same time they miss each others company. But I have something else I wanted to talk to you about. I mean its great that we moved."
"Why is that? Other than having more space?"
"Well I just found out that were expecting. What do you think about that Africa?"
"I think its great. The twins are 11 they are going to be teens soon so its great that were expecting. One more thing to celebrate at our party."


Later that week, Africa managed to organize a party for her whole family to come over and celebrate.
"I just want to thank all of you for coming over. Its been rough trying to get our house in order for you guys. Now im just happy that we have a new home that we are able to share with all of you."

"on another note there is another announcement we would like to make. Laci and I are expecting again. I know that many of you speculated and its true."
Darius and Dominica stared at each other not believing that their parents were going to bring a little sister or brother.

The family sat down to dinner and the conversation flowed lightly. Austin was so proud looking at his family and how it had grown. Now he was a grandfather to not two but three and one on the way. He couldnt believe it.

While everyone was busy dancing and talking Africa couldnt help notice that Suki and Hayden seemed to be arguing. Africa was going to investigate when Laci interrupted.

"Hey whats wrong?"
"Nothing Laci. Are you having a great time?"
"I am having an awesome time. Come here dance with me."

Months later Laci was getting big and she was feeling so pregnant. She loved being pregnant but she also feard that anything would go wrong. Africa as always was so attentive.

Africa and Laci welcomed not one bundle of joy but two. Both of them could not believe that they were parents to another set of twins.

Africa is holding Sasha.

While Laci is holding Nicolas. Both parents were amazed that they were now going to experience again the joy of having twins. She was just happy that they were still somewhat young to be able to deal with these babies.

Asia Dominguez--Chapter 3

Asia Dominguez ---Job: Juggler age, 27

Asia was happy that spring was finally here. She spent her days being her active self. She just started the hobby of bird watching that kept her occupied.



You wont find Asia at home often. If she is not working then she spends her evening jogging with her pet Cuddles. She jogs to ease her mind. To relax and to think about how her life is going. Lately all she has been thinking about is having a baby. She knows she wouldnt just sleep with anyone. Thats why she has made the decision to pursue adopting a baby. She knew it would be hard for her but still she would try her hardest.



The music bug must be flying around in her family because Asia too decided to buy a musical instrument. Cuddles helped to sing along by howling to the beat.

She invited her twin sister Africa over to let her in on her decision. Africa was speechless when she heard that Asia wanted to try adopting on her own.

"Asia..seriously your only 27. You havent even met the guy or girl that you want to maybe marry?"

"I dont think I want to. I know that you dont see things my way. I dont know maybe its that im tarnished by our parents relationship. Don't get me wrong I know that now they get along but when we were growing up?"

"I already talked to mom about those issues. You cant let that sway you from trying your own marriage or even dating. Ever since we graduated you havent even dated. How about that?"

"I dont know. I look at guys and I don't see anything that I like. Before you ask yes it will have to be a boy."

"OK your an adult. I cant wait til you tell mom and dad. I cant believe that they will support you 100%"

"either way im doing Africa. I just hope that you are available for advice."


Laci, "I know that you want to be a mom I understand. I wish you the best in adopting. I hope that the process goes smoothly."

"I hope so too."

"Well we have to get going Asia. Darius please get your sister so we can go."

"aww mom come on can we stay with auntie Asia longer?"

"hey Laci, if he wants to stay and if its OK with both of you then I can take him home later."

"Really? Well you might as well get to practice now. Alright Darius you be good OK."


Asia spent the afternoon with her nephew tossing the football around. Cuddles felt a little ignored but he would get a treat later that would make up for it. These were the moments when Asia felt the need to have someone to share her wisdom with. She wanted to have a child because she didnt feel lonely but she didnt want to deal with the dating ritual that went along with producing a child.

Asia finally mustered the courage to tell her parents about her decision to adopt. She figured that they would be supportive of her decision. As always her mom began to talk about remodeling her apartment.

"Asia, honey your upstairs still hasnt been painted? When are you going to talk to that landlord? Did you want me or your father ?"

"Honey. Im sure Asia is capable of talking to the landlord when she is good and ready. Lets have a seat over here and wait for our lovely breakfast." Austin said. As always Austin intervened and would make Estelle ease of running their children's lives.


Breakfast was going well. They were discussing Ariel's pending depature to college. Asia still couldnt believe that here little sister was almost an adult. Asia took the plunge and made the announcement.

"OK well I wanted to invite you guys over for breakfast but also to let you in on a decision I made. I am putting in an application for adoption."

"Your adopting another pet?" asked Estelle.

"No mom...im actually thinking of adopting a baby."



"Im sorry did you say a baby? What in the world are you thinking about? You cant adopt your not even married. Why would you seek adoption now? I hope that you would want to wait until your married rather than now. Why the sudden change?"


Austin listened to both sides and didnt know what to believe.

"So you want to adopt now? Did you think about it. Im sure you put thought into it but I dont know if you the consequences."

"Dad, I thought about it and yes I want to go through with it. I am just telling you guys not really looking for approval."


They were getting ready to leave Asia house after hours of discussions. Ariel managed to watch TV since obviously she had no part in the decision whether her older sister wanted to adopt or not.

"Asia, I just want you think about what your life will be if you decide to adopt. I just hope that you really think about it before you go through with it."

"Mom. I know what im doing. Dont fear. I will let you know how it turns out."

Asia did think things through and her decision was to go ahead with the adoption. Her family may or may not understand but Asia needed to do this for herself. No one really knew that deep down inside she really didnt want a husband or worse end up with a marriage like her parents first had. Sure now everything between her parents were fine and dandy but she never forgot how things used to be.

The social worker showed up and asked her questions regarding her status and her reasons for wanting to adopt. She posed several questions that Asia had been asked. She did not feel nervous and was eager to get this interview out of the way.

Asia was scared that the interview did not go well but in the end it was the social worker who put her mind at ease. She told her that she did a great job and she didnt see any problems with putting the adoption application through. Now all Asia needed to do was to wait for a child in need.

Several months later Asia unexpectantly received the call that she was waiting for. Asia did not know what to do. Sure she wanted this to happen but now that the day was finally here she didnt know what to think or what to do first.

Asia felt so nervous when she saw the blue adoption van pull up in front of her home.
"Here you go Asia. I am sure you will make a wonderful mother."
"I cant believe that this day is here. I actually was wondering if it would come true."
"Were here to support you Asia with any problems you may have. Its courageous for you to choose a newborn. I just hope that you are ready for whats in store."
"I am. I am so ready"answered Asia.

Austin Dominguez, Generation 1**Chapter 13

Austin Dominguez

Children (in birth order): Asia, Africa, Austin Miguel II, Atani, Suki and Ariel (pictured above).

Even though it was winter there were still plenty of leaves to be picked up. Now that the harvesting season was over for Austin and Estelle they now concentrated on picking leaves. It was all they could do to make sure their compost bin stayed full. Even though it took a lot to make the piles of leaves...Estelle could not help but throw some around.

Winter also brought Ariel closer to her friend Frances J. Ariel had a mad crush on Frances and it seemed that he too was starting to like her as well. Frances did manage to keep his distance since he was a college student and Ariel a senior in high school. Frances could not wait to have Ariel attend his college. In college he would be able to tell Atani how he really feels about her. For right now this hug was enough to keep both of them content.

Austin was sick and tired of coming home to find Ariel huggin with Frances J. He had already spoken to Ariel and had specifically told her the rules. He never suffered this much with his other children. For some reason Ariel was spoiled. Soon enough he and Estelle would make sure that she stopped feeling so spoiled. Ariel pleaded with her dad. She even mentioned how she was a senior now and soon would graduate and go to college. Austin was not dumb. He knew that once she was in college then he would not be able to monitor 100%. But during his watch while she was at home..well she would do what he said and that was final.

All was not bad since Austin did manage to save a good penny. They were trying to find ways to investing their money. He still remembered the days when they were so much in debt and now they can oficially afford to pay for Ariel's college tuition without having to get a loan. This was more happiness than he ever thought possible. To celebrate his good fortune he bought an electric guitar.

Suki, Hayden and Miguel stopped by to have dinner at the parents house. They were happy to see that their daughter was back safe and sound from her honey moon. Estelle was concerned because she still had not heard from Asia or Africa lately.

Austin received a huge promotion from work. The promotion was worth $48,000. Austin needed to invest in something so he decided to buy a vacation home. He searched for what seemed forever but he finally found one.

It was located on Twikki Island and it was a beautiful summer home. Now that they were elders Austin kept telling Estelle that they should retire. Now that they had a summer home they could live there and be happily ever after. Estelle couldnt tear herself away from her job. So for now Austin would only dream about living here full time.

The best part was the open patio that they had. Austin felt inspired and began to paint.
"this is the good life." said Austin.

soon they returned home. Upon answering their email and phone messages they found that Frances J had called several times. Estelle and Austin sat Ariel down and explained to her how important it was for her to finish high school. They explained their expectations and
Ariel felt that she was meeting them. When Estelle saw that Ariel was not paying attention she decided to put off further discussion.

"How in the world did you get this sunburned?" asked Asia.
"I laid out for too long. You should really see this place. Its so beautiful. Its a shame mo and dad got it right when im about to go to college. Totally sucks by the way. " said Ariel.
they talked and then Asia approached the subject Ariel was hoping to avoid. Asia was contacted by their mom Estelle to talk to Ariel about Frances. Ariel explained to her sister all that was going on and promised that she would take it easy with Frances. Ariel started to daze and could only think,"someo ne anyone get me out of here!!"

Generation 2--Suki Dominguez**Chapter 2

Current employment: Draftsman
Household members: Herself and Hayden her finacee.
Family members: Parents: Austin and Estelle. Sibilings (in birth order) Asia, Africa, Austin Miguel II, Atani(her twin), Suki, Ariel.

Finally the day that all of the Dominguez family was waiting for was here. The first child of Austin and Estelle to get married was Suki. Africa her sister was only living with Laci Hourvitz therefore she was not counted as an actual marriage. Estelle was crying her eyes out of joy seeing her daughter get married.
Suki recited her vows that were filled with love and devotion to her husband. Hayden did the same for her. He vowed to love and cherish her for all eternity. He promise to provide and protect her for the rest of his days.

Once Suki placed the band on his finger Hayden put his arms around her and said, " I love you so much Suki. You are the one and only for me. I hope that we can spend the rest of our lives together no matter what. I just hope that no matter what our future holds that you know I love you."
Suki frowned as she concentrated on the last few words that Hayden said. Something didnt seem right but she thought it was just her nerves. Then it was time for Hayden to place the ring on her finger.

"Well Suki its my turn to put the ring on your hand. honey.. give me your hand."
"What? Oh sorry I was just thinking about things that you said. "
"Suki take this ring as a symbol of my devotion to you. I just want you and only you in my life." With that Suki and Hayden were married. Suki was now Suki Dominguez-Stompel.

Estelle was so happy to see her daughter happily married. " Oh it was a beautiful ceremony. I wish you two the best of everything"
"Thanks mom. I am so happy right now. I am happy that everyone is here on my special day."

Suki's father, Austin was happy to see that she was happy. "Honey..my baby girl he better take good care of my baby."
"Austin" said Estelle, "of course he will".

Hayden and Suki left the reception straight to Twikki Island to celebrate their honeymoon. It was at this time that Hayden lifted his new bride into his arms and he noticed how heavy her dress actually was.

"I love you Suki"
"I love you too Hayden. "

The couple had a blast between building sand castles and getting to know each other better than before.

They laid out in the beach. Hayden wanted the waves to touch his feet while Suki wanted to be dry.

They managed to get some football tossing in. They loved their honeymoon. It was everything that they had hoped for.
