College years: He went to sim state university where he earned a degree in History. He then moved to Viramontes to be close to his family and love ones.

Austin decided to rent an apartment after graduation. He looked around and was amazed at the level of empty apartments. The landlord explained to him that the vacancies were due to many people moving to the outer skirts of the city. He managed to find a one bedroom apartment for $910 weekly and a rental fee of $3,000.

Austin looked around and decided to talk to the people that are his neighbors. He manged to meet several of them and was amazed that many were single like himself. The good thing is that he didnt have to worry about being bothered while working. He was happy that he would have peace and quiet.

After settling in he contacted his college sweet heart Kea McMillan. He was so anxious to see her again. At graduation she had promised not to forget him but he knew that it was going to be hard for them to be together. He was out of collee while Kea was just a Junior. He still remembered helping student teach in the history department when he saw her in one of his classes. Ever since he saw her he knew that she was for him.

"How is school going?"

"Its going fine Miguel. Do you miss me? Or your too busy dating like crazy now that your back home."

"Dating? No. I only have my eye on one person. That is if she would just give me the yes to being my girlfriend. Why dont you just say yes?"

"I told you. I have to wait to finish college. I want to be able to focus on my medical career and im unable to do that if all I do is think of you."

Miguel didnt want to say goodbye that night but he knew that he had to. He didn't know how he would do it but he knew that he would be married to this girl one way or another.
"Ill call you when I get back to sim state OK?"
"OK now you make sure to call me. I hope that you think about what I said Kea. I want you to be my girlfriend. I would even be bold enough to say that I want you to be my wife but..."
"Whoa...lets take it one step at a time Miguel. Bye."

Now that Miguel was back the family was feeling semi back to normal. For Austin having his son back meant being able to bond with a non female. Austin had five daughters and only one son. His legacy heir Austin Miguel II. Miguel had called the family up for some bowling and everyone was game. It seemed that Asia was ready to get the old rivalry up and going but managed to hold on.

Africa even managed to get to the bowling alley before the game was over.
"Whoa looked who finally showed" said Miguel.
"I know..I know..but having twins is hard. Is mom around?"
"Ya shes over there trying to beat dad on the last frame. So how you been?"
Africa managed to bring his brother up to date and he was happy to see that his sister had reconciled with his mother. It seemed that Africa was getting ready to marry her live in girlfriend while his other sister Asia didnt seem to even be dating anyone.

Asia had stopped by to visit her baby brother and to see his new apartment.
" this is the new place huh?"
"Yup. Im glad that your here. I know that this doesn't even compare to your place but what am I to do?"
"Ya right. Im just happy that im not paying a lot of rent. So tell me whats new with you? Has Kea come to visit you yet?"

"No not here. We went on a date and we are getting or at least moving foward."

The one thing that Miguel hated most was the lack of a maid. He was considering getting one but he just figured he would rather save his money for a rainy day.

He also regretted that he didnt find an apartment with a little more space for his exercise equiptment. It was too late now since he signed a two year lease. Either way he was happy to be living in a space where he could grow.

Miguel was surprised to hear Kea's voice when he answered the phone.
"hey..to what do I owe this surprise?"
"I wanted to see you. I miss you can I come over?"
"You dont need to ask..of course you can come over."

"I cant stay too long. I was down here with some girls from college and I didnt want to leave without saying hi. It felt wierd being in the city and not being with you."
"I can imagine. You know I havent called you because you said you wanted to focus on school. I hope that everything is going fine right?"
"Of course it is..."


"About what I said the other day Miguel. I just want you to know that I love you. I dont know why im so scared to let our love interfere with my college career. I wanted to know if you still wanted me to be your girl?"
"Yes I do. You know I love you Kea. I want to be with you. Why the sudden change of heart?"
"Well some girls were talking...and I just dont want to risk losing you. I want to be with you."
"is there someone beeping?"
"ya. Sorry Miguel the girls from school said they would only wait a few minutes..ill call you when I get back to school OK. I love you my loving boyfriend."
Seeing her leave was hard but he knew that sooner or later they would end being together forever.
