What is a man to do? Miguel has constantly tried to reach his so called girlfriend Kea Mcmillan ever since the last time he saw her. They had talked a few times but never longer than ten minutes or so. As much as he loved Kea he was starting to feel ignored. He tried everything even to the point of almost driving to Sim State University but Kea was against it. Kea was almost done with school so Miguel was anxious to propose for her to move in. He came home from work excited about his promotion to Architectual Partner. The first thing he wanted to do was to call Kea then his family. "Hello this is Miguel is Kea somewhere on the floor?" He was told to hold and after what seemed as an eternity someone finally picked up the phone and hung it up. "great" he thought. He then called his parents who were more that ecstatic to have an architect in the family.



As weeks passed Miguel decided that he would call Kea and there was no success in getting her to answer the phone. One night as he was working on his work project a balloon appeared . It was Kea trying to have a conversation via messenger. Kea typed, "Hi, I heard that maybe you tried to call me? I have been busy with finals. Can you believe that I am in my last year?"

Miguel typed, "I know. I did try to call you but you never seem to have time to talk to. so what is going on? I need to be able to talk to my girlfriend. I know you dont think that I am going to be fine with just typing away." "I know Miguel. Look at it from my point of view. I told you that this would be wrong at this point of my life. I want you to know that im sorry but im really busy." "Busy" thought Miguel. As much as he didnt want to he knew that he had to end it. He couldnt just sit around and hope that Kea called him. He was young and free. So he typed those dreadful words, " I think we both know this is over. Im sorry that you wasted my time and I messed up your wonderful time away at college. I am logging off. Dont call me and have a great time. I wish you the best for your future endeavors. Good luck". Right before he logged off he managed to view the words, "Miguel.. please dont do this...." but Miguel just shut off his computer and called it a night.

He met up with his collegue Jordan to have some drinks after work.

"Your serious. She just ignored you like that? What happened. I remember
when you first came to work for us it was all about Kea and Miguel." "Hmm
goes to show you what happens when you choose to go out with someone way younger
than you. Im done with her. Maybe we will meet up again when she's a
little older." "Ya OK Miguel. Maybe the problem is that you dont notice
that there are um other females that would love a chance to date you." "Really"
responded Miguel, " I guess I will have to take a look around. "

Miguel wanted to pursue the conversation and ask if she wanted to maybe go out but it was dicey. It was hard because Jordan was his collegue and he didnt want to piss where he ate. It was better for him to just feel things out before jumping the gun and asking her out.

Miguel did however managed to meet this beautiful girl named Caryl Kalson. She was hot but he didnt want to just jump into a relationship. Not having dated much Miguel tread the waters carefully. they talked and before he knew it she was actually hitting on him. For once Miguel didnt want to think about the "right thing" to do. He went with the flow and liked where the flow was taking him.


Yes they did the deed. Miguel really didnt want this to be his first but hey he was done waiting for the "one". Caryl was just what he needed and she proved to him that he was what she needed too. After a bit of akward silence Caryl got up and announced that she had to go. So this was it Miguel's first sexual experience.


Miguel felt bad just letting Caryl go. He was not or could not be one of those guys that was like that.

"Hey. I had a great time. I hope you had a great time too?" " I did
Miguel. I just.. well I dont normally do things like this. I know this may sound
wierd but I think there is more here. I would like to get to know you more. I
mean I love knowing you this way but I would love to get to know you more out of
bed." "Lets get something to eat." was Miguel's response.

After their meal Miguel headed back to the apartment and did not know how to exactly say bye to Caryl. he felt trapped.

Caryl said, " so did you want to hang out or something?" "Im sorry. I dont
want to give you the wrong impression. I just broke up with someone and im not
ready to date. I just want to be free for a bit. You understand dont you?"
"Ya. I get it. Now that you were with me in bed you could care less about me
outside of it right?" "Noo, that is not it. Listen I dont know you
that well but I know that if this were another time or circumstance I would love
to get to know you more." "No its OK. You dont have to justify anything.
Im going to get going. its a small town. Im sure we will see each other again.
Who knows maybe I will see you again when you are ready."

Caryl left but Miguel felt terrible knowing he had just basically used Caryl for a good no a great time.

The weeks passed by and Miguel finally decided to ask Jordan out on a date. He figured that it wouldnt be that bad. He just hoped that if things didnt go well with them that they would still be able to work together.

"Im glad that you toughed up and asked me out." "It has nothing to do with
toughening up Jordan. Its hard. You know a lot about me including my past
relationship. Not to mention that we work together. I had to weight the
pros and cons about dating. I mean we are starting slow."
"oh you mean were not getting married tomorrow? " Jordan laughed. "Im
kidding. Were both young and adults. We can managed this. I
doubt that any of us want to cause the other trouble. Relax and just enjoy
the ride."

Miguel loved Jordan's attitude. He just hoped that everything would work out.


Miguel's co-worker Carl Tsvirkunov came over to finanlize plans for thenew building they were constructing. He also wanted to talk to Miguel about catching him and Jordan practically making out in the mailroom the other day.

"Miguel I just cant believe that your dating Jordan. Aren't you scared of it
going sour and making the work environment bad?" "No, we both are adults
and we talked about it."responded Miguel. "So what do you feel? Is this for
marriage or just some fun?" "Honestly Carl its none of your business but I
will tell you that we are taking things slow." "thats not what I saw in
the mailroom. " laughed Carl. "Ya ya... about that I hope that you
can keep that to yourself" said Miguel.

Miguel looked at his plate and did hope that things with Jordan would not sour. Sure he thought about kea still but he felt great when he was with Jordan. One thing that did bother him is that on his caller ID a number kept popping up. When Miguel looked up the number in the directory he was surprised to find that the number belonged to Caryl Kalson. He thought she understood it was over.. hopefully she was not going to be a problem.

Africa Dominguez--Generation 2** Chapter 2

It always seems that there is someone crying in this house. Its bad enough that the neighbors make so much noise that there has to be constant banging on the wall. Africa has had enough of it so she is now enemies with the neighbors. As far as Laci goes for her the lack of sleep is starting to get to her more now than when she was pregnant. Just as her eyelids were finally closing she heard the yell of her toddler son, Darius. Darius in turn woke up Dominica. Now they were both up and they needed changing and feeding. Thank god that Africa was there to help every step of the way.

Africa: My daughter Dominica is so spoiled. I want the best for her but it seems that she demands a lot of attention. When she was a baby she was always waking up at odd hours asking for a feeding. Now that she is a toddler she wants to learn everything at once. I just hope that she learns some patience.

Unlike his twin sister, Darius was calm. It seemed that he always wanted to be near his mama Laci. Laci could not wait to get home and hold her babies. Laci's career as a field researcher was taking a toll on her. It was awesome that Africa managed to be home more than she did. Africa was promoted to Mime and that gave her more free time.

the good thing is that the twins loved playing together all the time. If you were looking for one of them for sure you will find the other. It was a great thing that they took care of each other and got along.

One thing that wierded Africa out was a visit from her mother Estelle. The relationship between Africa and Estelle had been rocky. Now that Africa was an adult and a mom she choose to try to mend her relationship with her mom. Also it didnt help that her parents were getting older. She didnt want to miss out the opportunities of hanging out with her family. For some reason she thought Estelle was there to talk about parenting but to her surprise the whole conversation was about Asia.

"Do you think that she is dating someone? I am worried about her
being all alone in that townhouse without someone other than her dog."said
Estelle.

"Mom. I dont know if she is dating. I know that she is happy because she
looks it. I see her at work sometimes and it seems that shes doing
fine. Why not let her relax a bit. Were just out of college and it doesnt
seem like she is desparately seeking."

"But Africa, You are with Laci, Miguel...well who knows what is going on there. But then Suki is getting married and Atani is actively dating. So of course im going to worry about Asia.""Alright mom I will talk to her and ask her what is going on. I am
tellling you that you are worrying about nothing."

To appease her mother Africa and Laci invited Asia over for dinner. Africa could only guess that being Asia's twin is what provoked Estelle to ask for her help. They were having a great dinner talking about the kids, work when Africa flat out asked Asia about her dating life.

"What is the concern about my dating life?" asked Asia.

"Mom is concerned. You know how she is. She just wants to make sure that you are OK. Lord knows she probably thinks your gay like me and does not want to say anything."

"What? Oh please. I am...well im not dating because I have not found anyone interesting. Were only 25 years old. What in the world are we supposed to be doing? Just because you are with Laci and my other sibillings are dating? Ugh. This is really annoying me."

Laci interrupted by saying, "Im sure your mom just wants everyone to be with someone and happy. I do not think that your mom sees that you can be happy by yourself. Dont worry im sure she will back down soon."

A few days later Africa and Laci were sitting down in their livingroom enjoying the peace and quiet. Africa loved Laci and begins to wonder if Laci would marry her. She would find the perfect time to get the ring and propose. For right now she was just happy sitting and enjoying Laci's company.

Asia Dominguez--Generation 2 Chapter 2

Job: Knight at evening restaruant.




Asia is so content with her life at this point. Who wouldnt be? She is young a college graduate and is advancing quickly in her career. She has even managed to get her dog up to par in the skills department. As much as she loves her dog she wonders whether or not something is missing in her life. Dont get her wrong..for her the prospect of dating freaks her out but she is game for a date now and then.



Asia loves spending time with her family. If you dont find her jogging in the park then you will find her at home cooking for her family. Her mom, Estelle and father Austin love coming over to visit their daughter. Estelle is proud of her daughter but wonders if she will begin to date any time soon. For some reason she looks at Asia and wonders if she is even interested. Unlike her twin Africa, Estelle does not think Asia is gay... but then does she like guys? Asia's father Austin thinks his daughter should take the time to get to know herself then date if she needs to. Austin has always been the type of dad that listens and lets their children grow by making mistakes. He is not worried at all for Asia.



No matter what Asia is always concerned for her health. Sure her mom may think that she is not interested in dating but the truth is that she is interested. Either way she loved exercising to keep in shape. She did it for herself not to attract a guy.

Asia decided to have her family over. She wanted to watch the big game of Llamas versus Viramontes. She invited her family as usual and they were all to excited to come over and watch the game with her. Asia ordered pizza to ensure everyone was fed and that she didnt have a huge mess to clean up afterwards.

All her family showed up except for Suki who was busy planning the wedding of the century. As much as Asia wanted her and Africa to show up they didnt. Africa was too busy trying to get everything straight with the kids. Asia told Africa to bring the kids but they didnt feel comfortable enough to do that.

After it was all said and done Asia took her dog for a walk. She breathed the cool air and thought to herself, "I really love my life". It was a chilly night but she didnt think twice before taking her dog out. Hopefully her mom would lay off a bit and she will be able to get another promotion. She was even toying with the idea of buying a house. Who knows what was next on her agenda.

Dominguez Gen 1--Austin~~Season 1

Austin Dominguez Legacy leader

Household members: Austin Job: Rock God and his wife, Estelle Job: Flamenco master.

Children: Ariel, currently in high school

Children outside the household: Asia, Africa, Austin Miguel II, Atani, Suki and Ariel.

Austin and Estelle were excited because for them all of their children were doing OK. For the lasts few years Austin grew the bug to have a garden. For the first time this year he has seen some good come from his plants. Even Estelle has invested time in their garden. The good news is that Austin received $48,000 as a bonus from work. He could not believe it when being a rock god he got that bonus. The Dominguez family decided to go ahead and fix somethings at home. They were discussing changing the siding outside when their daughter Africa came by to visit. Austin still could not believe that they were grandparents to Africa's babies. Even so Africa could bring the kids out yet. No need to worry the minute that the babies were good they would go and visit them.

with the bonus both Austin and Estelle decided to redo their 1st floor. Instead of the yellow and orange they decided to do purple this time. Estelle was amazed at her new living room. She always wondered if they would be able to live without financial problems. As it turns out she was right..they both managed to get pass their many years of problems and wind up here.

the best remodel was their kitchen. Gone were the pastel yellow and her was the nice turquoise that she was dying to have in her house. Austin liked the new kitchen and living room and wondered if they were going to do the dining room. For now they decided to leave the living room as it was. They both thought that it would be best to save the money since Ariel would be going to college soon.

Africa came a few days later to talk about Suki's wedding plans. Austin still could not get over the idea that Suki was getting married. No matter how many daughters he had it still hurt him to let one go.

Estelle looked around and loved being surrounded by her daughters. Sure there was a rough patch between her and Africa but they managed to get through it. Now it seemed that everyone was getting along. Atani came up with a lot of ideas for the wedding. the worst when Africa asked if there was going to be a stripper and if so could it be a police officer. Asia just stared at her sister she was so embarrassed that Africa said that. All in all the meeting was a success and Suki was happy that her wedding was being planned.

While everyone was busy with Suki's wedding Ariel herself was busy meeting people. She met Frances J whom she really ...really liked. They met through the college exchange program. Now that she was a sophmore she needed to decide if she was going to college. She saw Frances' profile and it was total attraction. For Frances being a freshman he was just being a nice guy but when he saw Ariel he must admit that she was a beauty... A beauty that could not be touched.

They were talking for a while and did not notice that time passed by. The next thing they knew Austin had arrived from work. Austin looked at this guy talking to his daughter and imediately wanted to know who he was and worse why was he here. Ariel introuded Frances to austin and Austin immediately said goodbye. Austin was disappointed in Ariel being out so late without supervision. Austin thought to himself, "here we go again." Again he had to start with the teenage dating. He had to count himself lucky that he really didnt have to deal with this with his other children. Somehow with Ariel everything was different. They were in a different income bracket. He wondered if he should just enroll her in private school. Yes maybe that was the answer. He would talk to Estelle and get her take on it.


The next morning Austin decided to talk about the incident. Estelle just looked at her husband and wondered what in the world was wrong with him. Ariel was a growing young lady. True she needed to cool it with the late night talks but at the same time she was allowed to have friends.

"Honey, I think what your father is trying to say is that your friend may come to visit but only during regular hours. There is no need for you to go out on our front stoop when you can have your friends over and see them in the living room."

"Mom, I know but it was on a whim. Dad is overreacting I am not trying to even date him. Remember that I am to choose a college and he so happens to be on the college exchange program. Dont worry."

Austin looked at them and wondered if they were just gaining up against him. "alright we will try what your mother says. No boys after 10pm. Another thing I will take some vacation off so that we can spend it together."

"Great" responded Ariel.

As promised, Austin took some vacation and decided to lay out on his new pool area. It was awesome to know that he would now be able to rest and enjoy the sunshine. Finally he thought to himself he was at peace in his home. He was getting along with Estelle and most of all he was happy all around.

Generation 2 --Suki Dominguez~~Season 1

Job: Foreman at a local construction company

Parents: Austin and Estelle Dominguez
Siblings (in birth order) Asia, Africa, Austin Miguel, Atani(her twin), Suki and Ariel.

College: Majored in Psychology and graduated with full honors.

Present day:

Although Suki could have rented an apartment with her sister she too agreed that she needed her space. She rented the first floor of this apartment complex and couldnt wait to get it decorated to her liking. After all being trapped in a dorm room was nothing more than stiffiling at least design wise. She got her job at a local construction company and was ready to get to building lovely buildings in Viramontes.

As with any apartment complex one has to get to know their neighbors. Suki's building has three apartments which one was rented by her and the other two were rented by single men. She happened to meet both of them on the same day. On the left you will see Alvin Brown and on the right Hayden.

"Hello nice to meet both of you." said Suki

Alvin (guy in brown jacket) wasted no time at all trying to get to know Suki and her marital status. Suki was turned off by this meanwhile Hayden just looked at disgust as he viewed Alvin's childish attempts. Hayden introduced himself and then quickly excused himself since he had to go to work.

In the next following days her twin Atani came to visit her. It was such a relief to see that her twin was doing OK. Atani had just confided in her that her miserable ex or soon to be ex boyfriend Nathen was stringing her along. Although Suki wanted to break his legs Atani didnt allow it. Suki just stood by and let her sister sob or laugh whichever made her feel happy. It was going to be a long road but if anyone could do it, well it was her twin Suki.

Suki was ever busy with trying to climb the corporate ladder. She felt guilty when her family invited her to go out yet she was busy with work. It did surprise her when she got a call from Hayden her neighbor. It turned out that Hayden worked up the courage to ask Suki out on a date. Suki had loads of work to do but hey a young girl needed to have some fun to. She agreed to meet Hayden downtown and could not wait to get out of her apartment.

It was like they were meant to be. After their first date Hayden and Suki were inseparable. As soon as Hayden came home he would knock to see if by chance Suki came home earlier. When they would finally be together it seemed as though they would ignite each other in flames. Hayden loved being with Suki and vice versa. Even Suki was happy to be able to say that Hayden was her boyfriend. Things were moving along quite smoothly and Hayden asked if he could meet her family. Of course Suki could not deny him that. She was so happy she wanted to share her happiness with the world. As much as she wanted to wait a bit more she agreed to have a dinner for everyone to meet her boyfriend Hayden.

Suki came home ready to get dinner started for her family when she was stopped by her other neighbor Alvin. She had almost forgotten that Alvin lived in the same building.

"Hey there Alvin. How's it going?"

"Its fine. Listen I have been meaning to catch you but your never home. I wanted to know if you would be available for a date. I know its last minutes and all."

"Oh I am sorry Alvin. I guess you havent heard from Hayden or myself but we are actually dating and well I cant go out with you."

"Oh really. Well No Hayden had not metioned anything to me. Im happy to hear that you guys are dating. I guess my loss his gain."

"Thats so sweet of you to say. Listen maybe one day we can double date OK?"

Dinner at her house was a success. Almost all her family members showed up. Suki was nervous to introduce hayden to everyone. Hayden on the other hand was so happy to finally meet the family. Austin, Suki's dad managed to have some private time with Hayden. Austin asked everything that a concerned and curious father would ask. Hayden loved the fact that Suki's family was large and very concerned for her. This only made his decision much more agreeable.

"Listen everyone" said Hayden, "I just want to thank all of you for coming out and giving me the honor of meeting all of you. I am happy that we can all come together not only to meet but to celebrate the accomplishments of my girlfriend. In case none of you knew Suki just got promoted to Draftsman. I also wanted to take this opportunity well... "


Hayden got down on one knee and Suki felt as though she was going to faint. Her twin sister Atani could not believe that this was happening. Everyone turned around to see this magical moment.

"Suki, I know that for many we only know each other a short time. For me its long enough to know that I want to be with you. Will you do me the honor of being my wife?"

Suki still could not believe that Hayden was asking her for her hand in marriage. Marriage...who would have known that she would get engaged so fast after college. without any hesitation she looked at Hayden and replied, "Yes. Yes I will marry you... oh Hayden I love you so much". The evening ended with everyone wishing them the best. But most of all Estelle was happy that she would finally get to plan a wedding for one of her daughters.

Generation 2--Atani Dominguez ~~Season1

Atani Dominguez

Job: Dancer

Parents: Austin and Estelle Dominguez

Siblings (in birth order) Asia, Africa, Austin Miguel, (Atani), Suki (her twin), and Ariel.

College years: Majored in Drama to follow her dream career of becoming World class ballet dancer.

Present day: Atani managed to rent an apartment near downtown. Many thought that she would rent with her twin sister Suki but they both decided against that. Atani felt that they needed their space since they have gone to school together and even lived in the same dorm. Besides Atani wanted her space for when her boyfriend and hopefully future fiancee could come visit freely. Therefore Atani was more than ecstatic when she found an apartment that she could afford on her own.

During college she had met and dated Nathan Schamess. After graduation Nathan hinted at moving to Viramontes to begin his career in government. Atani was more than happy to hear that his plans were finally finalized. When Atani receive the call from Nathan she couldnt believe that he was finally in town.

Nathan came over to visit Atani's new apartment.

"Your place is awesome. Are you happy to see me?"

"Of course I am. Its so nice to see you. How about your place? When do I get the luxury to see it?"

"Its not fixed yet. It will be in a few weeks. Come on lets go out and you can show me your wonderful city."


When they returned from the date Nathen put his hand on her shoulder and gave her the sweetest kiss ever imaginable. Atani was left thinking how lucky she was to find what she believed to be the one. Yes the famous "one" with who she could spend her life with. She had met Nathan her sophmore year. It had now been three years of dating and she was happier than ever. She would now be able to spend time with Nathen without having to concentrate on college course work.

Atani managed to have her family over for dinner. To her parents it was important for the family to get together and share what has been going on. Unfortunately neither Asia nor Africa could attend. Her twin sister Suki attended and shared the good news of her latest promotion. Austin Miguel announced that he too was going doing great at his job and would soon introduce someone special in his life to his family. this is the point when Suki decided to say, "Your not the only one..right Atani. Mom, Dad Atani also has someone special that she would like you guys to meet."

"Meet? really? Who is he?" Inquired Estelle.

"No one ...Suki doesnt know what she is talking about."

Atani was busy trying to get promoted at her job. She had seen an ad for an interpretive dancer but she knew that she needed to tune up dance skills. She was so focused that she had not noticed that it had been over more than a couple of days since Nathan called. She was not used to not talking to Nathen. She decided to call him but only reached his voicemail. "Hey Nathen its me Atani. I was just calling to well see how your doing. Its been a while since we talked. Call me."

Atani was bored at home so she decided to meet up with some of her work friends at the shopping center downtown. When she got there she noticed someone familiar. After looking she realized it was Nathen. She quickly went to him and she wanted to know what in the world was going on.

"Nathen? Whats up? I have been calling you. How come you havent answered?"

"Oh hi Atani, Sorry I have been busy. I just needed sometime to get to know the city."

"Wait. You needed to get to know the city without me? Whats going on. You used to call me every day and now you barely do."

"Atani..listen I know that this is not the place nor the time. I think that we should maybe take some time apart. I dont know how things are here. I just want to have some fun and well not be tied down."
"Tied down Nathen? Since when do you feel tied down? Look I think you need some time so its OK. I have never been one to beg someone for time and trust me im not going to start with you."

"Wait Atani.."

"No well talk later...have a goodnight."

Atani didnt know who to talk to. Should she call her mom? Her other sisters? She felt closer to Suki so naturally that is who she called. Suki was more than shocked to hear the story her sister told her.

"He told you that? that he felt tied down? Girl if I were you that would be the end of it. Trust me there is something shady going on. I told you to dump him once you graduated yet you didnt listen to me."

"You dont know what we have. Its just some adjustment issues. I knew I shouldnt have told you."

Suki looked at her sister and wondered where the independant women she knew Atani was went to. Don't mistake it she did like Nathen for her sister but she didnt like that he was now just toying with her. Even though Atani would oppose it Suki would get to the bottom of this 'adjustment issues' that Nathen was suffering. Either way she was sure that her sister would surpass this.

Instead of focusing on her what used to be relationship Atani instead spent her time and energy at her job. No matter what Atani needed to excel. She loved Nathen but she was not willing to lose her self just because Nathen needs a break. if this did not work out Atani knew this would be his loss not hers.
