Ariel Dominguez Chapter 3

We have been struggling so much that I have been eating my emotions. I know that this is not a good thing but Frances does not really complain. As a matter of fact, he never says anything.

I decided that WE could use an exercise machine so I moved some money around and bouthg this. Frances was upset but what could he do? WE needed this badly.

On the days I work, Francis stays home with the kids. Having three is very taxing on our money. I had no idea that my brother Austin Miguel was going to pop by to see how we were doing. Francis calls in checking in on us while I call it checking up on us. Needless to say Austin Miguel was shocked at how we were living.

Frances and he started talking about why we were not married and all the benefits our marriage would have on us. He also mentioned the tax breaks we would get. Frances fell for it.

At dinner that night he could not stop talking about us getting married. I do love Frances but sometimes I wonder if its a good idea. I am only 22 and a mother of three kids. Its just too taxing.

Frances kept insisting and finally I gave in. On the morning of our wedding I was having huge doubts but he just kept quiet. Then I finally realized he was actually asleep.

No way I could call it off now. My whole family came to Downtown to see us get married. Everyone was so excited that I was doing the right thing.

I think we ordered more chairs than actually family members. Either way I was happy to see that everyone was here.

Our vows were short but simple. I was finally Mrs. Frances Worthington III. It was weird because I had felt married all this time. Now I just had the ring to prove it.

I kissed Frances while my family cheered. I guess Atani and Alec were reliving their own wedding because they kissed as well.

The kids had to be put to bed before the party was over. I was just hoping everyone wouldnt stay too long. We both had a bus day the next day.

I guess marriage agrees with me because I hit the lottery and won $30,000. That with the money we had in our account I managed to pay off our debt and fix up the house. Now we have two stories instead of one floor.

Darius and Dominica Dominguez

Dominica, (18) who is majoring in Economics and her twin brother Darius (18) who is majoring in Biology. They both decided to attend Academi Letour.

Freshman Year:

Darius and I began to study everyday to try to get this college thing right. Darius was the one more keen on studying and getting to know the people on campus.

I was in the library and got approached by this guy. I think his name was Elliot or was that his last name? Not sure but after a while it was clear he wanted to find out if I was available. As soon as I mentioned my boyfriend the conversation was over.

Darius met a guy, his name is Alexander Davis and apparently they have hit it off. I am glad that my brother met someone and that this guy seems nice.

Prof. Calderon came over to discuss Darius' Grades. He honestly hurt Darius' feelings when he told him that either Darius' gets it together or he will not make it past Freshman year.

Darius was concerned and voiced his fears to Alexander who told him to just take it easy and get to studying. In the end we both finished the semester, Darius got a C with a scholarship of $400. I got an A with a scholarship of $1,200.
Sophmore Year:

Alexander and my brother are officially a couple. I hate to admit that i'm a little jealous that my brother has his boyfriend here while mine is so far away. In the end I am just glad that Darius is happy.

Being that I got an A last year I am taking it a little easier. At least I can breathe a little easier this time. I kind of like this video game more than my biology this year.

Where did the time go? All of a sudden Darius reminded me that finals were coming up. I hate to admit that I have been slacking a little this year. It's been hard with all of the social activies and let alone the offer to study one Master's class. I may want to go for my Master's so why not take advantage.

I guess Darius was too in love and I too into my social campus life. We both were placed on Academic probation with less than two weeks to make our classes up. Darius looked just as disappointed as I am.

Darius told me that Alexander was disappointed and promised to help him study.

Finally Kompol had saved enough to come and see me. I was so excited that I just jumped into his arms. I still could not believe that he was here in the flesh. We talked about so many things including making a life for ourselves.

Our visit was cut short since one of my classmates told me that there was a man looking for my brother or me outside. It turned out to be my uncle Austin Miguel. I was shocked to see him on campus. He had actually come to talk to my brother and myself.

We settled into the living room of our dorm. I was a little worried that one of our parents were sick or worse. It turns out that our uncle was coming to tell us that we were officially being pulled out of college. Both of our jaws dropped. I questioned why but he told us that our moms saw no need for having us here if the school was ready to drop us. What else could we do? We were officially being requested to leave school. Our uncle at least told us we still had the option of going to school at home. Needless to say that I was devastated.

Kampol made his entrance at that time and shocked all of us by saying that if I was leaving school then I could move in with him. I agreed but my uncle said that the discussion would have to be with my parents and not him. He was only to come and tell us that college dorm life was over for us.

Darius accepted his fate a little better than I did. I must admit that I was sad when I realized that he and Alexander would have to live apart. I guess the are going to keep their relationship and see where they are going to move to once Alex graduates. So for now either we move in with Kampol or rent an apartment ourselves or Darius moves back in with our parents. Hopefully our return to Viramontes willl not be that bad.

Suki Dominguez-Bruenig Ch 6

My hair salon business is picking up more than I ever expected. I am still trying to do my day job as manager at a construction company. I have to work harder than ever to keep both jobs successful.

I have been so busy that I decided to hire a stylist. Who ever thought that I would have my own employee? His name is Dominique. He is a little standoffish but he is a silver level hair stylist. I rather have him than someone that is learning like myself.

I get a thrill when my clients love the way their hair comes out. Some hairstyles take longer than others but hey at least its the experience.

Toby helps me out a lot with Madison. During all these days he managed to get promoted in his salary. He gets a few more days off the year and he loves to spend it with Madison.

I still manage to set time aside for my son. I cant believe that he is 2 years old. I cant wait until he gets a little older so that we can try many more activities.

I guess the success of my salon came with a price. My director telephoned me and basically fired me over the phone. I was so stunned that I did not know what to say. I had to call off 4 days so that I could take care of all the bridal parties I had scheduled. Not only that I also managed to tell Toby that he would be a father again. He was excited but now I am worried.

Madison doesn't notice much. He just sometimes points at my ever growing stomach and tells me im gaining weight. Can you believe this kid?

Working in the salon has me so tired that I literally knock out in the livingroom. I love this area of my house. It's nice and quiet and I can sit back and relax.

Soon it was time for me to give birth. I screamed for Toby and he came rushing to my aid. I gave birth to twin girls.

For now all the kids are sleeping in one room but we know we will have to divide that room up. I just need to get a little more income in order be able to construct the wall.

Atani Dominguez-Rainer Ch 6

The other day Alec surprised me by asking if I was ready to have another baby. I know the twins are four but are we truly ready for another baby?

After the twins were born, I took a hiatus from my job as a classical ballet dancer. I still have the moves but I wanted to be more with my boy. I do practice from time to time so that when the time comes I will be ready. But that has all been side tracked with the possibility of another baby. I have my career to think about.

Alec also has his job and his side job to think about. Lately he has been spending less time on the hunk of junk in our driveway. I don't want to ague so I try not to fuss about it.

We had my twin, Suki and the rest of the family for a small dinner party. Many of my family members couldn't come due to their work schedule. It was nice to see my sister, Suki getting along fine with Toby.

I mentioned to Suki about having another baby. She thinks its a great idea. I am still debating on it but maybe it is time to have another.

I even invited my sister Africa to dinner the other night. She and Laci are so ecstatic about Africa's pregnancy. After the they miscarried the last one, now they are so careful that sometimes its a tad too much. Laci agreed that I should try for another baby.

I talked to my dance company about the possibility of staying on with them but with a leave of absence. My director said he would grant me one more year and then he would have to terminate me.

I made the decision and told Alec that we should try for another baby. Alec was more than ecstatic and we began trying right away!

I just hope my sons are OK with the whole big brother thing. It amazes me to think that they are almost 4 years old. I cant believe how fast they grow up.

I guess I am fertile myrtle as they call fertile women. Alec swears we got pregnant on the first try. All I know is that I am ready to have this baby. My family and I are ecstatic to see if I am having a boy, girl or twins.

The pains started and it was at this time that I realized how painful giving birth could be. I had totally forgotten the pain.

But in the end isnt it all worth it? Meet my new son, Ja-won. He was a single birth. I guess I am going to live in a house full of men.
