These have been tough times for Atani. She was still trying to get over her flopped dating situation with Nathen Schamess. No matter what she did she still thought about him. Not only did that make things worse but now Nathen found himself calling her. Atani didnt want to hear anything he had to say. She was feeling uptight. She was dissappointed in her career. It was almost as though she was in a standstill. As she was looking at the newspaper one day she saw an advertisement for a vacation for the far east. She had always wanted to go. She was waiting to maybe even ask Nathen to go with her. Now she was sitting here alone on her couch when she decided to do something that for sure her family would think was crazy. "Yes... I will" thought Atani. Now was the perfect opportunity for her to go. After all it was a few more weeks before Suki's wedding. Before she knew it she had called and booked her vaction to the far East.
As she was leaving she couldnt help to think that she looked sorry traveling alone. Either way she wanted to go and have a great time. For some odd reason a lot of her neighbors were outside and waved bye to her. It had dawned on her that she was leaving on Saturday. Saturday was the day that new people were welcomed in the building. A guy caught her eye but she didnt have time to stop.
Once she got to the hotel she noticed that there were a lot of couples checking in. She decided to go and purchase some things in the store to buy the souveniors. She looked around and there was no one really that caught her eye. Sure she was here on vacation but at the same time she thought maybe she could have a little more fun than usual.
Atani was feeling relaxed and pleasantly happy. She decided to get some food in her stomach and that is when she met Tyson Dawn. Tyson was good looking and he was interesting. At the same time Atani finally accepted that she had a thing for red heads. It seemed that every guy she focused on had red hair. Tyson and her talked all through out dinner and he even asked for her phone number. Too bad that he lived far from Viramontes.

"Yes thats it..right there." Atani hummed with joy from her massage. She relaxed and allowed herself to be pampered.
During her Yoga routine who happened to "drop by"? Yes thats right Mr. Tyson Dawn appeared out of no where. He complimented Atani on her advanced Yoga moves. She on the other hand chuckled seeing his lame attempt at a Yoga stance. They laughed and enjoyed each other's company. It was the last that she would see Mr. Dawn since he announced it was his last day. He did however promise to visit her in Viramontes and call her often. Atani didnt let that get her hopes up. Ever since her mess with Nathen she stopped getting hopeful when some guy said, "I cant wait to call you."
Atani managed to get in another bowl of rice before she departed to go back home. She was glad that her vacation went along smoothly. She was happy and relaxed. Now she only dreaded turning on her cellphone and hearing Suki's voice complaining about not reaching her. Atani knew she was selfish but she just wrote everyone an email that she was going on a much needed vacation. She knew that Suki depended on her for everything wedding related but Atani needed this break!

Once home she saw her neighbors were outside discussing the latest news and gossip. Who knew that men too were so gossipy. Her next door neighbor was there and introduced Atani to the red head she noticed on her way out to the cab a week earlier. His name is Alec Rainer and he invited her to partake on their lively discussion.
As she got ready to go back to her apartment he stood up.
"I didnt think you lived here."
"Why would you think that Alec?"
"Well I was moving in and well you were with a suitcase headed straight to a taxi. I just thought to myself..wow I see someone I would like to get to know here and poof shes moving out."
"As you can see I do live here Alec . Im sorry but I have to get upstairs and see how many emails I have to respond to."
"Great. Here's my number. I live in Apartment 2. Maybe we can have dinner and get to know each other?"
"Wow you move fast. We'll see. I have to get going. Nice to meet you."
As Atani suspected the minute she called Suki she rushed over to discuss her wedding details.
"I still dont know how in the world you left Atani without giving us a warning!"
"Suki, Im sure that everything is going fine. I needed a break. I just felt so bad about Nathen and all this other stuff. I needed a break. "
"im sorry Atani. I know that I have been a bad sister. I am just so wrapped up on this wedding stuff that I want it to end. Hayden now just wants a small wedding and a small dinner. I didnt want to agree but Iwas getting to overwhelmed. So its all arranged and I promise once this is done I will be soo relaxed."
"I hope so. Alright lets go to the dinning room table and look at your plans Suki."

Atani decided to call Alec and see if he was up to a date or something. She was so energized from her vacation that was not ready to call it a night. Alec answered and agreed.
Once they got back to her place from the dinner.. well things took a turn for the hot and sexy. Atani couldnt resist letting Alec kiss her. Sure they didnt know each other that well but he was so darn good looking and interesting. She loved feeling his lips against hers. Yes this is what she longed for. She needed to feel wanted again. She only hoped that this wouldnt lead to akwardness in the building. For now all she wanted to focus on is kissing this lucious man.
