Business is picking up steadily. I hired the second stylist but he may not be working out as I thought he would. Because of this I decided to have my own chair.

I am still learning and I am so embarrassed when my designs come out like this! I just wanted to faint and I apologized but still it does hurt my business.

I thank God everyday for my loving husband. If it were not for him I do not know how I would make this business survive. I have officially quit my job and managed to keep this salon going. Toby helps me a lot and even supervises Madison while he does his homework.

I love when my young customers come and love their new hairstyle. I love it because this means that they will be repeat customers. I just hope that this teen gives his friends my business card!

Another busy day and trust me it is so busy I can barely chat with anyone. I just managed to get people in and out. Sometimes its frustrating when people take so long to make a decision concerning their new hairstyle.

I start from 7 am and its an all day process. Its tiring but making sure my family is stable is more important than sleep right now.

As much as I want financial stability I also know that I have to slow it down. There has been way too many nights that I barely get done in time to tuck in Madison. I can not miss any more mom duties. I have to find a way to make this work.

Atani Dominguez -Rainer ch 8-While She is Away.

Atani has decided to go on a small tour with her ballet company. We both know that her years with the company are numbered. For now she is taking advantage of my slight break from work. They guys and I are fine getting along with each other.

When Atani does come home she wants us to take the kids to the park. I love going to the park but Atani is definitely more graceful when it comes to skating. We have been married eight years and now I decide to learn to skate. My son just blows past us giving me a small fright.

The pool is something that we never regret getting. The boys practically live in the pool in summer. Its hard for us to make them do something else that is not swimming.

My youngest JahKhan is too young so he watches me play catch with Hitoshi. Hitoshi is a natural compared to Kanji.

When Atani came home for a break, we decided to go on a date. It's hard for us to get away but we both agreed to bring the twins with us. We left JahKhan at home with a babysitter.

Even after all this time I still look at my wife and am in awe at how beautiful she is. I look at her and I want to kiss her all over. She giggles and tells me that one day we are going to be arrested for too much public displays of affection.

Atani left again and now I am back to cooking for all of us. It is hard because the boys can be a little picky at times. I just pray not to burn the house down.

Night time is the loneliest. I take advantage and read a good book.

Atani wants to junk my junk car but I refuse to do it. For now I am just pushing myself to finish it.

Atani managed to cut her tour a little short so she and the boys ended the summer in the pool.

Before winter hit we all decided to go for one last spin at the park. The boys were excited. They both began racing and Atani worried that they would get hurt. She is still amazed at how much they have grown this summer.

I am a little better, but never like my wife. Atani grabs the boys and starts twirling like there is no tomorrow. I just worry about not breaking my leg on these skates. It has been a great summer.

Austin Miguel Dominguez II, Chapter 8- Our New addition.

This pregnancy has made me hungrier than ever! I am always eating and Miguel just looks at me and I think is a little frightened of me. My mood swings have not been that bad though.

Victor thinks its great that he will have a little sister or brother. He is now 8 and I don't think that he realizes how much work a baby sibling will be.

It was not too long before Victor met his little brother. We decided to name him Vinizio. He is a beautiful baby and he is calm. He sleeps through the night now but there are times when all he wants to do is stare at the world. It would help me if these times were not at 3am.

He looks a lot like his older brother Victor. I just hope that their age difference is not too great.

I had missed snuggling a baby. I love their fresh smell and having them giggle like crazy.

We had a dinner to celebrate the birth of our son and Miguel's family came over. I loved seeing my sister and brother-in-laws. It had been a while since we gathered.

We were sad because we all knew that Darius was no longer with us to celebrate in our joy. I still can not believe that it has been two years since he passed.

Atani came up to me and told me that Victor was so precious. I love that Atani is such a super woman when it comes to raising their kids.

Next thing I knew Miguel had everyone at the poker table upstairs. I don't get too mad when Miguel gets his family to play. At least Miguel does not lose too much money to his sister.

I am about to go back to work and I want to make sure that Victor knows that he is still important to me. I just hope that his grades continue to improve and that he doesnt feel any jealousy now that Vinizio is here. It pains me to leave both my babies but its time for me to go to work. I just hope that Miguel does not put too much of a fight for me to go back to work.

Africa Dominguez ch 8- Life is now calm.

Finally the quads were toddlers. I could sit them down and feed them all at once without having to run back and forth. I did not remember my other kids being this difficult. Laci jokes that its because were 38 instead of 28.

Its summer so instead of having all these kid in the house, I dragged all of their toys outside. I decided that we needed to start enjoying our backyard beach area. Sasha and Nicolas were thrilled.

While they played I took some time to relax and catch some much needed sun. Vitamin D come on down and get me!

I did glance over and love that my kids were fine playing at the table or the other billion toys. Nicolas was intent on making Caleb his new best friend.

I told Nicolas and Sasha to take care of the quads. I needed to take a dip before it was time to set them down for their afternoon nap.

Laci has been helping getting Sasha and Nicolas on track with their homework. Every evening she gets home its time for them to get on their homework. I guess they think that I am too busy to notice them not doing it. They tend to forget they have two mommies that look after them.

When all of them are in bed Laci and I take some time for ourselves. This is when the house seems so calm. We both talk,catch up and say,"how you doing?" We still miss Darius a lot in the house. Its been two years but he was my baby...shoot they all are our babies. Laci and I just look into each others eyes and I say, "I love you" and she responds, "and I you. Now lets go to bed...."

Asia Dominguez ch 8- a New Family

I try to have breakfast with my daughter every morning and use the time to catch up. So far her studies are doing good. I myself have decided to go for my masters. After all these years I need a masters degree to accept a job as university lecturer.

My boyfriend Vincent and I are going strong. We have been dating for almost four years and we can not believe it. I am glad that we are strong in our relationship especially since I just found out that I am pregnant.

I am 38 and pregnant but Vincent says he is more worried about what Naremi is going to say. Naremi loves Vincent but I too am worried.

We had dinner and Vincent saw me try to tell Naremi that we were pregnant. I could not even find the words. Both of them just stared at me and Naremi just said "huh"?

So Vincent took charge and told her that we were expecting. Naremi was OK with the news. I still expected some form of excitement but she just said, "OK". Vincent also announced that he and I were moving in together and this was also responded with an "OK".

I called my twin sister Africa over to tell her the good news. She was ecstatic to hear that I was going to be a mom again. She was worried that after adopting Naremi I would never want to experience giving birth. I was more worried about delivering at 38 years of age.

Laci was supportive and told me that Africa was only 36 when she gave birth last. All was well. Naremi was just shocked to hear about the birthing business. This reminded me that it was time for the bird and the bees talk.

I sat down with Naremi and explained to her about sex. I never thought about telling my daughter about it at her tender age of 10. I was careful to use correct terms and she said she understood. I also asked her if she was OK with Vincent moving in and the possibility of us moving to a bigger place. Naremi was sad to leave her school friends but all in all she wanted a bigger room. She was worried that we would give up cuddles our dalmation and I told her there was NO chanc of that. He too was part of the family.

I started looking for nursery items and before I knew it I was looking at rental ads. I needed to get started at looking for a place. With my pending promotion and Vincent's salary we should be able to afford a bigger place.

I had a small baby shower. Even my sister Ariel came from Downtown city to visit. She is not looking that good and I asked her if she needed help. She of course said no. I could tell that she was missing Frances more than she wanted to let on.

I saw my landlord and told him about us possibly moving out and he was sad to see such great tenants leave. Soon after that I was at the hospital giving birth to twins.

Now we were really crowded in the apartment. Vincent said he was going to definitely start looking for a new place for us. I was too busy tending to twins and Naremi. I still read a bedtime story to all three of them before they fell asleep.

When Vincent came home I thought he found a place for us but it turns out he went and bought me an engagement ring!

Of course I said yes and I could not believe that so many things were changing. Now I had a new family and was ready for our new apartment.
